       Dear Sir,

My name is Brian Kentish and I was a keen racing cyclist in the late 1950s
and 60s I was a member of the Century Road Club. Although cycling is not
something I kept up over the years but I have been a lifetime fan of the sport,
I am nearly 75 years old and I grew up right on top of Spurs Football ground
and seven houses down from our house lived Dave Tweddel who know was a
De Laune club member although older than me I knew him and his family well
When he then opened a shop with Alan Jackson Sondel Sport I was always
over the shop especially on Saturdays. I know Alan passed away many years
ago but is it possible someone in the club might have kept in touch with Dave
Tweddell hoping you did not mind me e-mailing you. I look back with fond
memories over the Herne Hill track doing laps with some of the De Laune
       members.

      Yours Sincerely Brian Kentish

medal, 12 silver and 30 bronze medals to the riders of the greatest number
of one-day centuries during the year. Rides in races or time trials did not
count. The competition aroused great interest and from the 1st January
1911 enthusiasts started marking up their ‘centuries’. It was indeed an
