| 21 March 2004 Dear Mike,
Please find enclosed 2 photos of Harry Thomas and I by
the pool in his new home in Brisbane to which he has recently moved. You
will note that in 1 photo he is wearing my De Laune hat.
He is keeping quite well and sends his regards to all
who remember him.
He was the club captain when I joined the DL in 1959
and used to be the club runs leader. He still remembers with fondness Mrs
Curds at Godstone and the Big Teapot at Biggin Hill. All you could eat for
about 2/6d, no profit for them if Brian Saxton was around, and his favourite
the Crown at Knockholt when there was the big room at the back, sadly now no
longer habitable.
