New Year's Day walk 1 January 2020
Happy New
Year to you all.
Due to colds sore throats etc we were down on numbers for the New Years
day walk and lunch at the Three Horse Shoes pub. The weather was not as bad
as it looked but three of our ladies Pat Brown, Val Skelton and Maire
Burfoot decided to go to the garden centre for coffee. My Pat decided to
stop in bed!
We had 12 sitting down for lunch including Peter Jenn, who always turns
up. Mike and Terry were sunning them selves in Tenerife. It was surprising
how many cyclists were out. If you remember in the old days in the 50’s the
Green Street Green roundabout was closed due to fancy dress cyclists making
a nuisance of them selves. There must Have been over 200. Good old days.
